Now that I have watched all the Best Picture winners, I have decided to go all the way back to the beginning and watch all the nominees I can find. That way, I can make an informed opinion of what I think should have won.
There are, of course, many more nominees than winners, so there will be many more reviews to post. In fact, I am currently up to 1998, and have watched 329 nominated films. But that being said, I have missed two movies, of which no complete copies still exist: The Patriot from 1928 / 1929, and The White Parade from 1934, which can now only be viewed by appointment from the UCLA film archive, and even that copy is rough and incomplete.
